BBE GEN-Y Youth Hub was set up in 2006.  The project is jointly undertaken by Ain Society and Bukit Batok East Grassroots Organisation under the patronage and the brainchild of Madam Halimah Yacob, MP for Jurong GRC, and supported by the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS). The programmes are targeted at out-of-school youths who are unemployed and youths at high risk between the ages 10-18 years old.
