Father's Day Hi Tea

After highlighting the mothers in the month of May, Ain Society aims to bring the fathers to the limelight by highlighting and honouring their sacrifices which are often overlooked and overshadowed by the female compatriots.

This year in 2011, we have invited once more Indonesian artiste Diana Nasution due to the tremendous impact that she has made on the mothers who attended our previous Mother's Day event in May 2011. The first Father's Day event by Ain Society was held on Sunday 19th June 2011 at Furama City Centre Hotel. Diana Nasution was invited once again and she was accompanied by her beloved husband, Pak Minggus Tahitoe, who led a motivational segment especially for fathers on his life experiences both as a dad and also as a husband.

Dr Nor Azhari, an Associate Consultant from the Department of Urology in Singapore General Hospital, joined the audience to give his insight view on the 3^rd most common cancer among Singaporean men, prostate cancer. The whole gala hi tea event was hosted by TG, a well-liked and respected radio DJ amongst his devoted listeners of WARNA 94.2FM.  About 400 participants attended the event.
