 Project We Care

Ain Society has made efforts to reach out to the poor and needy families who have never been helped by any financial assistance from other agencies. These are families who do not meet the criteria to be eligible for such financial assistances.

An old lady who lives alone and is not eligible to get financial assistance as she has eight children. When looked into further, these eight children are all married, living on their own, and are also struggling to make ends meet, thus are unable to help their mother financially. Another case is of a mother who is unable to get any subsidy for her children’s education as she is a foreigner and her application for the status of a Permanent Resident is not approved due to other complexities.

Ain Society helps these families by providing financial assistance as well as basic daily needs for the poor families. We also provides students from these families with transport allowance and school basic needs. The financial assistance will be given for a period of 3 months, after which their cases will be reviewed. During this period, our staff will help to link them up to relevant bodies and agencies to help them improve their current situations.
